Time Machine: Boy Group Edition
Sunday, April 1, 2012
This is another time machine post. But its the boy group edition this time!
Let's go back when our oppas were young and innocent, wild and free!
Super Junior
LOOK AT HOW HQ THIS VIDEO IS. Excuse while I go somewhere and sob and cry. I miss them as 13 sfm!
Shinhwa
Before DBSK, before SJ , there was the legend Shinhwa!
Let's rejoice in Shinhwa's comeback in a few days!
H.O.T.
Our oppas were fervent fans of them too ok?
Look at how young they used to be~Im just going to upload their recent pics here. Hopefully this gives a rouge guage how your oppars will age in 10? 15? years time.
Here is Tony,
And Heejun,
and Kangta,
DBSK
Rising gods of the east before they became all hot and muscly.
Fly to the Sky
I really like this song by them!
Big Bang!
Their style is so distinct even back then. And before Taeyang's mohawk lol!
SS501
Xing
Doesnt anyone even still remember them? Well, before Junhyun was in Beast and Kevin in Ukiss, ... This was what they were doing!
SHINee
2pm
I FEEL SO OLD NOW.
New fangirls might never know the magic and legacy of such old bands.
I dont really understand whats going on these days but it looks like 2pm is going through real shit.
It seems like a tsunami hit the kpop world and instead of mourning, everyone else is getting so agitated and refuse to accept it. I mean, a tsunami is for real, and so is jaebum leaving the group. Just accept it and move on! They shouldnt really do this to the rest of the members. I mean, 2PM is not just about jay himself. Think about the hardwork and effort the other members put in, its really unfair to throw the whole group away just because of jaebum.
You know, im not a great jaebum fan but i really do adore him because of his talent and his humbleness. Its definetely saddening to see anyone of them go, especially leader jaebum. But i believe there must be a real serious cause that led them to make such decision. So lets just wait for the cause to be revealed and hopefully it would a convincing one. At the same time, MOVE ON AND STOP DESTROYING THINGS! Its useless anyway!
When the fuck are these fans going to grow up. There are many other things to do in life. They ought to really learn what is true Love & Respect.
2pm vs Super Junior Special dance battle! Its a night of surprises as Kyuhyun was part of Suju's dance battle team. I mean kyuhyunnnn? Suju's Magnae? The great thing is, Super junior is truly SUPER, Kyuhyun can dance man that guy, where has he been hiding while they did their dance solo! perfect man~~
Im pretty sure 2pm can dance and they were good, but /not being bias here but I enjoyed Suju's dance performance way better. This totally trumped the poll thing where people felt 2pm were better dancers than Suju. See see. Super Junior won right!
And not only that SNSD's magnae proved to be a little surprise too!
She can dance too! :D Although yea, After School had a better/ more interesting dance. And I see Yoona shi and Sooyoung shi's hair growing rather fast. Im glad I didnt cut my hair. :)

"I grew 20cm in a year by drinking banana milk." - Nana, After School/Orange Caramel
News Asia, August 2010
"Yubin takes in everything. Because of that, I would always whine and let my anger out on her, saying that I’m tired. She would always be understanding, so I’m sorry.” - YeEun, Wonder Girls
Mnet Made in Wonder Girls, October 2010
"The music of ‘Love Light’ was written some time ago. When I thought of you (Seohyun), I started to put in the lyrics for the song. For the rap part, I thought of SNSD’s ‘Tell Me Your Wish’ and that was how ‘I’m genie for you girl’ came about.” - YongHwa, C.N Blue
Confession to Seohyun (SNSD) on MBC's WGM, 9 October 2010
"I really thought you were a tree."- Leeteuk, Super Junior
in response to Eunhyuk wearing brown from head to toe during their trainee days; KBS Sukira Radio, 20 October 2010
“I think, not just Thai people, but anybody could be in my spot. Because I started below zero, you know; I had no singing background, no dancing, nothing. I think it's a matter of how hard you work and how much you want it.”
-Nickhun, 2PM
(Nichkhun: The 'shy little boy' turned K-Pop sensation, CNNgo, 8 November 2010)
“If there’s one thing we genuinely wish for, it’s for all nine of our SNSD members to go together until the end.”
-Girls' Generation
(In an interview after winning Golden Disk Daesang awards, Daily Sports News
, 9 December 2010)
“Minho hyung has big eyes, well-defined features, and good style. So I thought he was not a Korean (laugh). He stuttered when he talked to me maybe because he’s introverted, so I thought he’s younger than me. Key hyung made a strong impression from the beginning for his showy fashion (laugh).”
-Taemin, SHINee
(Japanese Magazine ORISUTA,June 2011)
“My baby tummy which was a patent of mine disappeared suddenly one day. Our fans said my tummy then was cute, but where has it gone?”
-Sungyeol,INFINITE
(INKIGAYO MAGAZINE,August 2011)
“We don’t really think of ourselves as rivals with SNSD. There are things they can do, and we have things we can do… I hope each can become a group that can be a source of strength and consolation for many people.”
-SunYe,Wonder Girls
(MBN INTERVIEW,November 2011)
