A few weeks ago, Super-Kpop (we love animals!) decided to support Gentle Paw's flea market by donating some of our kpop posters to them to help raise funds for the medical fees of the dogs affect with parvovirus. We are glad the dogs there are well now. Thank you to the kind souls who bought our posters!
This brings our attention to KPOP stars who love animals too and are regularly campaigning for their rights and better welfare.
For her 23rd birthday, Tiffany of SNSD has decided to help out with raising money for the Korean Animal Welfare Association. Items worn by Tiffany will be auctioned off and the sum raised will go to help them run their activities.

Well we say, animal torturers deserve any shit they get. Please continue standing up for them (animals).

All these people are awesome!! I bet there are a lot more examples out there!
We hope everyone will care for animals and treat them with the respect they deserve. They are unable to voice out their pain and unhappiness but that does not mean they cannot feel too. All animals, big or small, healthy or not deserve as much happiness that they can. Not everyone is as blessed to get adopted into a family who loves them (eg Doreen's JoJo). And anyone reading this, we hope you can do your part too! Even if you do not volunteer or donate, you can still do a tiny something if you spot anyone abusing their pets and any animal in distress to the SPCA or local animal welfare centre!

4minute's HyunA under criticism for super short mini-dress
Girl group 4Minute’s member Kim HyunA has been put under the chopping board of the netizens for the performing costumes she wore, which was deemed indecent and inappropriate for the young fans.
A video of HyunA performing with 4Minute on their new song ‘Muzik’ has been uploaded on Youtube on 19th September, and HyunA’s mini-dress was spotted constantly going up while she carries out the choreography of the song. While she was dancing, the really short miniskirt kept going up, to the point her underpants was visible. HyunA was even seen pulling her mini-dress down.

Teddy, "I did not plagiarize anything"
Following the reports that YG Entertainment whose artists include G-Dragon and 2NE1 has received notification letters concerning infringement of copyrighted materials from a local copyright holder, Teddy (HongJoon Park), the composer and producer of 2NE1’s "I Don’t Care," had an exclusive phone interview with AM 7 on the 24th to express his position on the issue. Whenever there was a dispute over plagiarism, it was usually the label (who has the neighboring copyrights) who released statements to acknowledge or deny the accusation. This is the first time that the composer, the copyright holder, has spoken about his position.
In the interview, Teddy said firmly that he did not plagiarize, responding to the claims that there are similarities between the chorus parts of "I Don't Care" and "Just Go" from Lionel Richie’s album released last year. He said, "I did listen to the Lionel Richie song following the controversy over "I Don't Care." You can’t say it is plagiarism just because the feel, not the melody, of the two songs is similar." He stressed, "Two people living on the opposite sides of the world could have similar facial features. It is not right to say it is plagiarism just because the feel of the songs is similar." "I feel frustrated that some people are convinced that I used the Richie song as a reference, if not plagiarized." he added.
Teddy is a member of the hip hop group 1TYM and has been with YG Entertainment for over 10 years, writing and/or arranging most of the hits by YGE artists. He arranged Se7en's "I Know" (2006) and Big Bang’s "Sunset Glow" (2008) and wrote and arranged TaeYang’s "Look Only at Me" (2008), Um JeongHwa’s "D.I.S.C.O." (2008), and 2NE1 and Big Bang’s "Lollipop" (2009).
He says, "When you write a song and if that song is similar to another song then it is the composer’s responsibility to make changes. However, as far as this song ("I Don't Care") is concerned, Heaven knows and I know that I have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of so I will not discuss it at length." He added, "I have absolutely no interest in either lawsuits or plagiarism accusations."

Epik High reaches Top100 on iTunes
Korean hip-hop group Epik High has entered the iTunes Top 100 chart with their sixth album, according to a press release.
The three-member band's latest album "[e]" placed in the Top 100 of Hip-Hop/Rap chart on iTunes, ahead of American hip-hop artists like Nas and Timbaland, on Wednesday. Epik High, composed of Tablo, Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz, debuted in 2003 with the album "Map of the Human Soul" and gained popularity with the success of their consequent albums "High Society" and "Swan Songs".
The group released their sixth album "[e]" on September 16.

G-Dragon to hold 1st solo concert in Dec
G-Dragon, leader of popular idol group Big Bang, is set to hold his first-ever solo concert in December, according to his agency on Thursday. "His first solo concert will be held about twice during the first week of December," announced Yang Hyun-suk, founder and CEO of YG Entertainment on the agency's official website.
Yang added the performances will be held at the Gymnastics Gymnasium in the Olympic Park with tickets to go on sale after the Chuseok holidays in early October.
The 21-year-old songwriter, rapper and singer, recently topping the charts with his first solo single "Heartbreaker", has also been the subject of heated debate on whether he plagiarized Flo Rida's "Right Round'.
Sony/ATV Music Publishing has said it is in the process of taking legal action against the song and three others it claims were plagiarized and released in the albums of YG Entertainment's singers.

YET ANOTHER GIRL GROUP. They churn them out like hot donuts.
Do you guys remember the girl group from few years ago called i-13? Well, they were supposed to be a large girl group, like Super Junior but it didn't really work out. They didn't succeed and disbanded. Now 3 of those 13 girls are coming back as JQT with one other member! Their names are Park Min Jung, Lee Ji Eun, Park Ga Jin, and the one who made the group through an audition, Joo Min Sun. Joo Min Sun was picked out of 200 people for this group!
You're probably wondering, What in the world does JQT mean? Well the J is the letter that is in all four girls' names, the Q and T stand for QUALITY and QUARTET.

Lee Hyori changes Agency
Lee Hyo-ri, the 30-year-old sex icon, will be free from an exclusive contract with her current management agency, Mnet Media, from December, leaving both the broadcast and entertainment circles to pay special attention to her next agency-contract move.
However, Lee has decided to get reunited with Kil Jong-hwa, who was the manager of the defunct four female singer group Fin.K.L that Lee belonged to, online entertainment news Newsen.com said Friday.
Kil has recently set up a management agency to promote Lee’s activities. Their projected reunion has spread since last summer. But the two sides have not disclosed the plan as Lee has to release one more album under the contract with Mnet Media.
Lee is preparing her fourth solo album, whose release date has not yet been determined amid speculation that it will hit the market in October or November.

After 2PM's Jaebeom's departure from the group, 2PM's fans, Hottests, have declared they will be boycotting 2PM until Jaebeom is back and the fans have stayed true to their word.
Through a travel agency in Thailand, an event was to be held for a total of 100 fans to sign up and get a chance to go on a 5 day trip to Bangkok with 2PM's Nichkhun. But as the Hottests have proclaimed that ""We all reject a 2PM without Jaebeom", one by one the Hottests have been canceling their opportunity to meet the star and are backing out on the event.
A representative stated, "We had around 90 participants in the event but now we have about 30 left." But it seems this event will still be taking place despite the small number of participants.

In the recent recording of SBS 'Incredible Competition Star King,' Yuri surprised everyone by transforming into a sensual Argentinian tango dancer.

The 4 said "We are environment protectors G4 (Green 4)" and through the show, they want to learn about the importance of environment and thus, they can practice those knowledge in their daily life.

4minute's HyunA under criticism for super short mini-dress
Girl group 4Minute’s member Kim HyunA has been put under the chopping board of the netizens for the performing costumes she wore, which was deemed indecent and inappropriate for the young fans.
A video of HyunA performing with 4Minute on their new song ‘Muzik’ has been uploaded on Youtube on 19th September, and HyunA’s mini-dress was spotted constantly going up while she carries out the choreography of the song. While she was dancing, the really short miniskirt kept going up, to the point her underpants was visible. HyunA was even seen pulling her mini-dress down.

Teddy, "I did not plagiarize anything"
Following the reports that YG Entertainment whose artists include G-Dragon and 2NE1 has received notification letters concerning infringement of copyrighted materials from a local copyright holder, Teddy (HongJoon Park), the composer and producer of 2NE1’s "I Don’t Care," had an exclusive phone interview with AM 7 on the 24th to express his position on the issue. Whenever there was a dispute over plagiarism, it was usually the label (who has the neighboring copyrights) who released statements to acknowledge or deny the accusation. This is the first time that the composer, the copyright holder, has spoken about his position.
In the interview, Teddy said firmly that he did not plagiarize, responding to the claims that there are similarities between the chorus parts of "I Don't Care" and "Just Go" from Lionel Richie’s album released last year. He said, "I did listen to the Lionel Richie song following the controversy over "I Don't Care." You can’t say it is plagiarism just because the feel, not the melody, of the two songs is similar." He stressed, "Two people living on the opposite sides of the world could have similar facial features. It is not right to say it is plagiarism just because the feel of the songs is similar." "I feel frustrated that some people are convinced that I used the Richie song as a reference, if not plagiarized." he added.
Teddy is a member of the hip hop group 1TYM and has been with YG Entertainment for over 10 years, writing and/or arranging most of the hits by YGE artists. He arranged Se7en's "I Know" (2006) and Big Bang’s "Sunset Glow" (2008) and wrote and arranged TaeYang’s "Look Only at Me" (2008), Um JeongHwa’s "D.I.S.C.O." (2008), and 2NE1 and Big Bang’s "Lollipop" (2009).
He says, "When you write a song and if that song is similar to another song then it is the composer’s responsibility to make changes. However, as far as this song ("I Don't Care") is concerned, Heaven knows and I know that I have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of so I will not discuss it at length." He added, "I have absolutely no interest in either lawsuits or plagiarism accusations."

Epik High reaches Top100 on iTunes
Korean hip-hop group Epik High has entered the iTunes Top 100 chart with their sixth album, according to a press release.
The three-member band's latest album "[e]" placed in the Top 100 of Hip-Hop/Rap chart on iTunes, ahead of American hip-hop artists like Nas and Timbaland, on Wednesday. Epik High, composed of Tablo, Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz, debuted in 2003 with the album "Map of the Human Soul" and gained popularity with the success of their consequent albums "High Society" and "Swan Songs".
The group released their sixth album "[e]" on September 16.

G-Dragon to hold 1st solo concert in Dec
G-Dragon, leader of popular idol group Big Bang, is set to hold his first-ever solo concert in December, according to his agency on Thursday. "His first solo concert will be held about twice during the first week of December," announced Yang Hyun-suk, founder and CEO of YG Entertainment on the agency's official website.
Yang added the performances will be held at the Gymnastics Gymnasium in the Olympic Park with tickets to go on sale after the Chuseok holidays in early October.
The 21-year-old songwriter, rapper and singer, recently topping the charts with his first solo single "Heartbreaker", has also been the subject of heated debate on whether he plagiarized Flo Rida's "Right Round'.
Sony/ATV Music Publishing has said it is in the process of taking legal action against the song and three others it claims were plagiarized and released in the albums of YG Entertainment's singers.

Do you guys remember the girl group from few years ago called i-13? Well, they were supposed to be a large girl group, like Super Junior but it didn't really work out. They didn't succeed and disbanded. Now 3 of those 13 girls are coming back as JQT with one other member! Their names are Park Min Jung, Lee Ji Eun, Park Ga Jin, and the one who made the group through an audition, Joo Min Sun. Joo Min Sun was picked out of 200 people for this group!
You're probably wondering, What in the world does JQT mean? Well the J is the letter that is in all four girls' names, the Q and T stand for QUALITY and QUARTET.

Lee Hyori changes Agency
Lee Hyo-ri, the 30-year-old sex icon, will be free from an exclusive contract with her current management agency, Mnet Media, from December, leaving both the broadcast and entertainment circles to pay special attention to her next agency-contract move.
However, Lee has decided to get reunited with Kil Jong-hwa, who was the manager of the defunct four female singer group Fin.K.L that Lee belonged to, online entertainment news Newsen.com said Friday.
Kil has recently set up a management agency to promote Lee’s activities. Their projected reunion has spread since last summer. But the two sides have not disclosed the plan as Lee has to release one more album under the contract with Mnet Media.
Lee is preparing her fourth solo album, whose release date has not yet been determined amid speculation that it will hit the market in October or November.
As a result, this will be the final album to be released under the management of Mnet Media. Currently, Lee appears in Family Outing, “the first division of Sunday Is Good,” the entertainment program of SBS TV.

Through a travel agency in Thailand, an event was to be held for a total of 100 fans to sign up and get a chance to go on a 5 day trip to Bangkok with 2PM's Nichkhun. But as the Hottests have proclaimed that ""We all reject a 2PM without Jaebeom", one by one the Hottests have been canceling their opportunity to meet the star and are backing out on the event.
A representative stated, "We had around 90 participants in the event but now we have about 30 left." But it seems this event will still be taking place despite the small number of participants.

In the recent recording of SBS 'Incredible Competition Star King,' Yuri surprised everyone by transforming into a sensual Argentinian tango dancer.
With fancy footwork supplemented by 100% live music, Yuri was able to represent Argentina and it's original tango fever. Argentina is famously known as the home of tango dancing.

The 4 said "We are environment protectors G4 (Green 4)" and through the show, they want to learn about the importance of environment and thus, they can practice those knowledge in their daily life.
Shindong said "Teenagers and kids after watching us will be able to do like in the show [Find it ! Green gold] too" and "I hope that the kids will have more knowledge about environment later on"
Shindong also talked about his plan to diet again "Through this chance, I also think of starting my diet plan. In fact, last time I had lost 20kg but I had gained weight again later".
